Overcoming an unexpected crisis: Why does the Element of Change Culture (Understanding), become so relevant?

COVID-19 is perhaps one of the most critical situations in the history of the human race, in particular because no region in the world has been saved from it. This virus has in diverse ways affected everybody, independent of their gender, race, nationality, beliefs, economic situation, or age (even though it has affected the more elderly people.
In this moment that we are living with this pandemic, one Element takes on great importance: Change Culture (Understanding). That is because organizations must analyze what differentiates them, what their strengths are, what makes them successful, and how they can exploit all of that to face and overcome this completely unexpected situation with intelligence.
Within this understanding it also becomes necessary to determine all the implications that this crisis is going to have in the way companies are managed and operated in the near future until they are able to overcome the effects of the pandemic. Fortunately, history has shown us that the human race has been able to overcome similar situations over time.
From the viewpoint of our line of endeavor, we consider that understanding an organization’s change culture, especially centered on its strengths, is essential to enabling a needed transformation, while improving their actions, even in these times of crisis like the one we are living today.
